Night Moves

 

When playing with patterns, mix from the same color family. Try to find patterns that complement each other, but don't look too matchy-matchy. Remember to include some type of neutral like shoes or accessories to balance out the look. I absolutely loved mixing this beautiful lace skirt with a striped button down, but the best part about this shoot is the special guest is pajamas...he's such good!

Cream and Sugar

If you love to wear neutrals, try whites and creams this Fall. White knits, leathers, corduroys, thick cottons, and heavy laces will all look great during the next few seasons. Lighter weight fabrics are harder to pull off in the colder months. White coats look sophisticated, chic, and help pull an outfit together. Add some edge to a white and cream outfit by adding a colorful scarf, leather boots or a leather bag.

High Fashion clothing requires self-knowledge, nerve, and creative spirit. I love pairing Vintage and Modern pieces together in a personal and original way. When I found this dress, I absolutely fell in love. It is truly a special piece and worth the investment. When shopping, always go for quality, not  quantity.

Florals Focus

Florals will be a big trend this Fall and Winter! Check out Dolce & Gabbana, Erdem, Burberry Prorsum, Temperley London, Osman, McQ, and Marc Jacobs collections for Floral inspiration this Fall and Winter. Usually this trend fades in the colder season, but the Fall/ Winter seasons this year are an exception. Reinvenet these trends by pairing them with leather or denim.

Jackie O Moment

There is just something about Jackie O's style. As a fashion icon, she always looked effortlessly glamorous. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of her that I didn't absolutely love. She was the epitome of such good style!
