Tweed & Sequins

November 2, 2012

Tweed can look incredibly boring if not paired with the right look. However, tweed can also add the right retro element to a look when it's verging on being too tasteful. I mixed it with this silk button down top, sequin tank, and leather jacket to add some current trends and a slight edge to the look. Forget the fact that tweed can be overused as a classic material and make it look new and exciting with a fresh take.

Pants: JCrew. Silk Top: JCrew. Jacket: Romeo and Juliet Couture. Sequin Top: JCrew. Heels: Seychelles. Sunglasses: Ray-Ban. Earrings: Anthropologie. Watch: Michele. Bracelet: JCrew. Antique. Ring: David Yurman. Vintage.

  1. Oh gosh, I tried those pants on and they looked SO horrible on me. It was like I was wearing a diaper! I'm glad they look cute on you so that someone can enjoy them :)
